As we begin another Celiac Awareness Month in May, our ownership, management team and our staff would like to thank all of our loyal and dedicated customers for their support.
The past year has been one of great change and expansion for Manini’s, and through all we have experienced some very gratifying interactions with our retail and food service customers and, most importantly, with the consumers that consistently buy our products. Comments from these customers are received and read throughout our company and are what drives every Manini’s employee to keep striving to be even better at what we do.
It is very motivating to hear from mothers who have finally found pastas and breads that their Celiac child will eagerly eat, entire families that are once again enjoying a dinner out in a restaurant, and fans and employees at various corporations, stadiums, and other community venues that appreciate healthy food made well and that tastes great.
I have personally met many thousands of customers and potential customers in the last year at in-store demo’s, food and trade shows, and other sampling events. Because we make all our products with the highest quality Ancient Grains and other ingredients, our products have allowed us to attract not only those who must eat gluten free due to Celiac or other gluten intolerance, but also the large and growing number of consumers trying to eat healthier and to consume less gluten and wheat by choice.

For all of you we have accomplished the following in the past twelve months:
- Introduced a fantastic new line of Gluten Free Raviolis, including our Four Cheese, Spinach & Cheese, and Portobello and Cheese flavors
- Expanded our bakery line to include both large and smaller hamburger buns, and developed individual packaging for those as well as our dinner rolls and sandwich buns for the institutional and food service markets
- Improved our retail and wholesale baking flour product line
- Updated our overall branding and brand message, including our packaging and website, which soon will allow customers to purchase our flour products directly from our website
- Donated more than 1,000 lbs. of food to various charities, camps for Celiac children and other excellent organizations.
Celiac Awareness Month reinforces our commitment “To Provide Great Tasting Food for a Healthier Lifestyle”. We will likely be introducing before the next Celiac Awareness Month at least one other ravioli flavor and a new pasta, and are working on many other new projects including pizza crusts and dough, hot dog buns, and additional bakery items. Each of these new items will only be introduced to our customers when we believe they are the best products in each category on the market and meet the same high standards of ingredients, production, taste, texture and nutrition you have come to expect from Manini’s.
